3-4 tbsp olive oil

2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

1 tin diced tomatoes plus a 1/4 tin water

handful chopped fresh basil

1 tbsp Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp Maldon Salt

1 tsp Crushed black pepper

3 tbsp salted butter
- In a small pot, heat the olive oil with the garlic, tinned tomatoes, water and chopped basil. Let it cook through for 5 minutes.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and the butter. Stir through and let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Taste and adjust if necessary.
- As it cools down, it will thicken slightly. Use on as pizza base or as a basic pasta sauce. Delicious!
