How do I sign up as a content contributor?

Pocket Chef is always excited to welcome new content contributors to the platform, but to keep our content standards high, we follow a strict application and verification process. For more information or to apply, please email your questions, CV and Instagram handle to yum@mypocketchefapp.com

How do I sign up as a user?

Once launched, users will need to complete our streamlined step-by-step sign up process where they will help us create and personalise their Pocket Chef experience.

Is my profile customisable?

Yes, it is. There is a wide range of dietary preferences and allergy exclusions to choose from. Users can also choose which content creators they wish to follow and stay up to date on. Occasionally, Pocket Chef will send suggestions of similar new creators to help users find more inspiration on the App.

Is Pocket Chef free?

Yes, downloading Pocket Chef is free, as is a lot of the content available on the App. There is a charge for access to Premium content in order to support providers who will be sharing their special recipes, experience and knowledge. Users can subscribe to as many content contributors as they wish – more subscriptions = more premium content at the users fingertips.

Is Pocket Chef POPI compliant?

Yes, Pocket Chef is compliant to the Protection of Personal Information Act of South Africa.
